X's and O's

BEWARE: This is gonna be obnoxious. 'Cause I stinkin' love Valentine's Day.

Even though I think you should treat you lover like every day is Valentine's Day, sometimes we forget. So there's one day set aside every year. One... out of 365... to stop and smell the roses {no pun intended}. To say "I love you" a bajillion times. To look back on all the amazing memories. To eat a crapload of chocolate. To put love jams on repeat. And to smile all day long - thinking about how many people you have in your life who love you.

So maybe there's one person in particular who has your heart? Fabulous. Today's that day to love them a little extra (:

Well that person to me just so happens to be ... across the country? Darn. But, oddly enough, that didn't bring me down one bit! I was happy as could be! I sat on the couch and ate my little box of chocolates {bite one, put it down, try another, repeat.} while listening to "Marry Me" by Train and just SMILED... while Matt watched me on Oovoo and laughed at my dorkiness; but let me have my moment as I "ooo'ed" and "ahh'ed" at the gorgeous flowers he sent. He was pleased with my reaction and I was on top-a the world.

Anyways. Here's my handsome Valentine.

This was in August.  The day we first saw each other after a long summer apart -- no phones, no computers, just letters. I remember the crazy thoughts whizzing through my head that day. How nervous and excited I was to see him. How long it took me to get ready that morning - 'cause I wanted to look good, ya know.
And how stinkin' soft his face was. I'll never forget that.

I actually love being an Army Girlfriend. Not many people can have cool memories like that. (:




Anyways. I ramble... Often....
But he's wonderful. I mean, really wonderful. He made my Valentine's Day so lovely. Look what I got!

Oh, goodness, I adore him. I could probably go on for a long time. But that's obnoxious....And it's bedtime.
